Reshaping Tomorrow Week

This coming June, employees from throughout the Wates Group will take part in the company’s annual Reshaping Tomorrow Week, which coincides every year with National Volunteers’ Week. Last year, a total of 1,235 volunteers – roughly a third of the entire workforce – worked a combined total of 7,509 hours across the country, working with a variety of local causes. Reshaping Tomorrow Week is supported by the Wates Family Enterprise Trust through its charitable grant programme, Wates Giving, which has delivered over £10m to charitable activities since its launch in 2008.

Every year our teams’ endeavours become more ambitious as they seek new ways to help their neighbours. Reshaping Tomorrow Week is an invaluable initiative through which we can ensure our work supports communities, enhances environmental and economic sustainability and ultimately improves the lives of local people.
Rachel Woolliscroft, Sustainability Director, Wates Group.
