Ride your bike Hop on your bike to make the most of the local surroundings. Not only is it the greener option  but Cardiff’s cycle network is growing and it has many off-road shared pedestrian and cycle routes.
Take the bus Foxglove Court is within easy walking distance of bus routes stopping on Colchester Avenue and Newport Road, both offering frequent (every 5/10 minute services, Monday to Saturday) to Central Cardiff and Cardiff Station.
Take a train The nearest mainline station is Cardiff Central with train services to Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Gloucester and London Paddington. Cathays is the nearest local train station.
Take the car Cardiff city centre provides a good range of parking facilities as well as the Park & Ride service, which makes taking the car out hasslefree. Foxglove Court is close to the A48, which connects to the M4 providing swift access to other destinations in Wales and across to Bristol and onto London.
Take a walk Whether it’s a visit to Howardian Local Nature Reserve or a 20 minute walk to Wellfield Road in Roath with it’s array of restaurants and shops, Foxglove Court is within easy walking distance for all your local day-to-day needs.
Get to the airport Cardiff Airport is easily reached by car or public transport from Foxglove Court. This busy airport offers direct flights to many popular European destinations.

Local Schools

There’s a good selection of local primary and secondary schools. Every school in the locality has at least a good Estyn Report.

PRIMARY SCHOOLS

English Catchment: Marlborough Primary School, and Ysgol Gynradd Howardian. Both for children from 3 – 11 and have received good Estyn Reports.

Welsh Catchment: Ysgol Y Berllan Deg, for children aged 3-11, also has a good Estyn Report.

SECONDARY SCHOOLS

English Secondary School: Cardiff High School, for children aged 11 – 18 has received an excellent Estyn Report. It is reputedly one of the best high schools in Wales for GCSE results.

Welsh Secondary School: Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bro Edern, is a designated Welsh speaking school for children aged 11 – 18. It has received a good Estyn Report.
